Manifesting

Grounding Your Energy

Of all the energy tools, grounding is without a doubt, the most important one to learn and practice. When we ground, we are more in our body, centered within our own life and connected to the earth in present time.

As a result, we have more awareness of what is going on around us and are more attuned to our thoughts and emotions.

In order to be totally present in the now moment, we need to be able to relate to it with present time responses, without constant interpretation from our past.

Becoming More Powerful

When we are grounded, we feel more powerful and capable. There’s a certain clarity of focus that comes when we are actually in our body and rooted to the earth in the present.

Circumstances in our life run smoother because we are able to handle whatever comes our way with confidence and neutrality. We can use our grounding cord to release the thoughts that agitate, disturb and distract us from our life in every moment.

When we are in our body, we own our personal space and are no longer the effect of energy.

Releasing Other People From Your Space

We can also use our grounding to release the attitudes, values and beliefs of other people from our personal space.

From the time we are born, we are picking up the ideas and viewpoints from people around us, which may not be in affinity with our own truth or beneficial to our spiritual growth.

This type of programming is learned and can come from our family, society, culture, teachers, friends, media, etc. If an idea feels contrary, negative or unsettling in any way, it needs to be grounded out so it can be looked at with objectivity and neutrality (released of emotional charge).

We do not have to live as mere automatons, acting out unconscious tapes, mental pictures and the past in the same old knee-jerk way.

Once we start grounding our energy on a daily basis, we soon discover what a huge difference it makes in our daily lives. And the more we practice grounding, the more we want to stay that way.

Participating In Your Own Life

Being a participant in our own life requires us to be present, which means getting grounded.

If we do not take conscious creative control in our world, our unconscious thoughts will do the creating for us.

The law of attraction goes on whether we are conscious participants in the process or not.

When we are ungrounded, circumstances may appear to show up due to outside forces (fate, luck, destiny, God, other people).

In truth, it is our own self that’s doing all the creating, except that we may not be present enough to recognize it.

Habit And Familiarity

Many people are ungrounded out of habit and familiarity, and the more they are out of their body, the more it feels as the norm.

Allowing one’s self to remain ungrounded becomes a habitual way of dealing with unresolved issues.

This coping mechanism only masks and perpetuates the underlying pain and inner turmoil that’s at the root of it all.

We need to be in the body and rooted to the earth in present time awareness, in order to address our issues and heal.

Saying Hello To Your Body

To get grounded, we can start by saying hello to our body. If we spend the majority of our time out of our body, we may forget at times that we even have one.

Instead of either ignoring our body or dragging it around like a ball and chain, we can validate our body by appreciating how much it does for us each and everyday.

Here are a few simple ways to give to your body: feed it healthy foods, stop judging it, take it out to play, make it laugh, give it fresh air, sunshine and plenty of rest, and the list goes on.

Being grounded is directly related to how we treat ourselves on a body level.

Creating A Grounding cord

Create a grounding cord to connect to the earth in present time, which will also provide a means to release unwanted energy.

Here are the steps for creating your grounding cord:

  1. Sit down in a chair that supports your spine.
  2. Take your shoes off and place feet flat on the floor.
  3. Place right hand on right knee and left hand on left knee.
  4. Close your eyes and rest your attention behind them in the center of your head.
  5. Find your the energy center located at the base of your tail bone.
  6. From that center, allow gravity to drop a grounding chord (of your energy) all the way down to the center of the earth. (It can be of your own design as well as how you secure it to the earth).
  7. Call your name down your name down your grounding cord and own it.
  8. Imagine earth energy coming up through through the energy centers of your feet, up through your legs, your thighs, up to the energy center at your tail bone and then flowing back down your grounding cord. Keep this loop of energy going.
  9. Allow gravity to ground out any unwanted energy from your space down your grounding cord to the center of the earth. Keep this going until you feel calm and clear.
  10. Open your eyes when you are ready. You are grounded.

When you are done grounding yourself, you will feel more present and solid in your body. You will also be more aware of having a body because you will be in it.

Your Beliefs and Programming Create What You See

Whatever we believe to be true at a conscious or unconscious level will be reflected in the circumstances and experiences of our life.

We See The World As We Are

Our beliefs filter what we see out there, which then proves to us that our perceptions are valid and true.

We don’t see the world as it is. We see it as we are because our reality is whatever we make it out to be, based on our beliefs.

Question Your Beliefs

If we want to be senior to our own life as conscious creator, we need to question what we believe to be true as well as become aware of our hidden beliefs and unconscious programming.

What are the beliefs that are coloring and creating your world?  Are they borrowed or second-hand hand-me downs?

Are some of your beliefs old as dirt, maybe from your childhood and in dire need of updating? Is it possible that you have hidden beliefs that are totally erroneous and that you are unaware of?

Unconscious Programming

Chances are the answer is yes. Much of our behaviors are based on the unconscious programming that we’ve picked up from the time we were born.

Old adages such as “Money is dirty,” “Money is the root of all evil,” “Children should be seen and not heard,” “Cooking and cleaning is woman’s work,” “It’s a sin to live together until you are married,” “Life is hard,” “Things that come easy are easily taken away,” “Sex before marriage is a sin,” “A woman’s place is in the home” are all tidbits of useless information that gets instilled in us from our society, culture, family, religion, media, peers, etc.

Uncovering The Truth

As we uncover these pseudo-truths that are stealthily hidden away in the recesses of our sub-conscious mind, our perception of the world shifts because we no longer see things in the same pat way.

Outside Forces

We will also make the mistake of blaming outside forces such as fate, luck, destiny, God or other people for the circumstances that we don’t have and want.

In reality, there’s no other human being, place or thing that is responsible for what happens or doesn’t happen in our own lives.

What we experience is the direct result of our own thoughts and mental pictures (memory snapshots of the past), whether we are conscious of it or not.

Our Thoughts Create Our Reality

We are constantly projecting patterns of thought energy outward.

We draw circumstances to us that match or correspond to those projected thoughts and then respond or habitually react to them accordingly.

This self-perpetuating loop of projection, attraction and response is how we experience energy and create our reality.

Personal Accountability

When we  look to other people to make things happen for us or as the cause of our life circumstances, we become dis-empowered.

By relinquishing our creative power to outside forces, we cut ourselves off from being able to create our own happiness and fulfillment.

Since our personal energy vibration is the cause for all that we experiences, we must own all our creations, even those we may not be totally happy about.

Until we acknowledge personal accountability for it all, we remain unconscious to the manifestation process that is constantly going on in our lives.

It Start with You

At times, other people will be drawn to us by our intentions of thought and corresponding attractor patterns, who will aid us in the manifestation of our desires.

They will match us energetically and share in the experience of creating for themselves.

However, if we want these connections to happen, we need to take appropriate action towards what we want, create channels of opportunity and position ourselves to receive our good.

Within the law of attraction, YOU are the Conscious Energy Being that’s creating and attracting EVERYTHING that you are experiencing in your own life.

Albert Einstein’s Way

Do as Albert Einstein did when attempting to solve abstract theories and complex mathematical problems.

In order to get out of the effort of his analytical mind, Einstein would take cat naps and the answers would come to him.

Einstein never gave up, but understood well that effort was not the way to his answers.

Creativity vs. Force

If we are forcing a situation with our will, this causes us to go into effort.  Our creativity abhors the energy of forced will.

We need to coax, nurture and caress our creative energy rather than force it out of ourselves.

Creative power is the right use of will, which means staying out of effort.
